Definitions
  • Activity Buyer: A parent, guardian, or authorised representative (such as a teacher) who books or communicates on behalf of a child or teenager.
  • Provider: An individual or organisation offering an activity through the platform.
  • User: Any individual accessing or using the platform, including activity providers and activity buyers.
  • Platform: The Activity Time website and associated services used to browse, list, manage, or book activities.

Welcome to Activity Time. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our platform. By using our services, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

These Terms apply to:

  • Providers who list, manage, or deliver activities through the platform
  • Activity Buyers (including parents, guardians, or authorised representatives such as teachers) who browse, book, or communicate through the platform on behalf of a child

Activity Time provides software that enables activity providers to list their services and activity buyers to book and manage those services. We do not operate or control the activities listed.

  • We are not a party to any contract between a provider and their buyer.
  • We do not verify provider credentials, insurance, or qualifications beyond platform declarations.

By listing activities on Activity Time, providers confirm and agree that:

  • All staff involved in the activity have been or will be Garda vetted (or equivalent if outside Ireland)
  • Appropriate and sufficient insurance cover is in place for the activities being run, in line with sector norms or the requirements of any governing body relevant to their activity (e.g. national sports organisations, local authorities, or venue operators). Providers are solely responsible for ensuring their cover meets the expectations of their participants and legal obligations
  • All uploaded media (e.g. photos, videos) are owned or licensed, with valid consent from individuals shown — including parental/guardian consent for minors
  • Descriptions and schedules are accurate and up to date.

Activity Time reserves the right to suspend or remove provider listings without refund if any concerns arise regarding safety, compliance, or trust.

Providers are also responsible for timely and appropriate communication with their own customers, whether through the platform or by other means. If a provider needs to cancel or remove an activity that has participants already enrolled, they must notify affected activity buyers promptly, provide relevant updates, and manage expectations or refunds in line with their stated policies.

Activity Buyers must maintain the security of their account credentials and are responsible for all activities that occur under their account. If you suspect unauthorised use or a breach of your account, you must notify Activity Time immediately.

When using the platform, Activity Buyers agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when creating an account or booking
  • Communicate directly with providers for specific questions regarding insurance, qualifications, photo permissions, child collections, waivers, refunds, additional care needs or anything else laid out in their specific terms and conditions.
  • Understand that Activity Time does not operate or supervise any of the listed activities

Activity Time reserves the right to suspend or remove provider listings without refund if any concerns arise regarding safety, compliance, or trust.

Providers are also responsible for timely and appropriate communication with their own customers, whether through the platform or by other means. If a provider needs to cancel or remove an activity that has participants already enrolled, they must notify affected activity buyers promptly, provide relevant updates, and manage expectations or refunds in line with their stated policies.

  • All payments are securely processed through our third-party processor, Stripe, and payment processing times may vary. Stripe may take up to 7 days to release funds to the provider.
  • Platform service fees may apply and will be displayed before checkout.
  • Providers choose how fees are distributed (e.g. absorbed, split or fully passed on to customers).
  • Refunds are subject to the Provider’s individual policy — Activity Time does not issue refunds directly.

Users (including Providers and Activity Buyers) agree to:

  • Maintain respectful and polite communication at all times on the platform
  • Not engage in harassment, abusive language, discrimination, or disrespectful behaviour in any form
  • Keep login credentials confidential and report unauthorised access

Activity buyers may have the opportunity to leave reviews for providers or activities. While Activity Time aims to maintain the authenticity of all reviews, we reserve the right to edit submissions to correct spelling, grammar, or inappropriate language. In doing so, we will take care to preserve the original intent and meaning of the review. While we make every effort to monitor reviews, it is possible that inappropriate or misleading content may occasionally slip through. We encourage users to report any such reviews, and we will act promptly to remove content that breaches these Terms.

Users also agree not to:

  • Upload harmful, illegal, or misleading content
  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
  • Misuse the platform for purposes other than genuine activity bookings

We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend access for violations of these terms.

Activity Time provides a platform for providers and activity buyers to connect. We are not responsible for:

  • The quality, safety, legality, or conduct of any listed activity
  • Injury, loss, or dispute arising from participation in a listed activity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will take effect upon posting. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Termination terms may vary depending on the provider-elected plan (Free Forever, Monthly, Annual or Enterprise). For full details on plan-specific termination, see your provider agreement or go to My Account and then My Plan on your dashboard.

Regardless of platform usage or subscription status,providers remain fully responsible for delivering the activities they have listed and for meeting the expectations of their customers. This responsibility continues even if the provider chooses to leave the Activity Time platform or terminates their use of our services.

Activity Time reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate access if a user breaches these terms, violates legal regulations, or endangers the platform community.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland. However, if you are accessing our services from outside of Ireland, you may also have rights under your local consumer protection laws. Where permitted, any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. We reserve the right to apply local laws or jurisdiction if required by international legal frameworks or user location.
